Staying in a local hotel and a spur of the moment decision to go out and eat. This restaurant was about 15 mins walk from the hotel.As we had booked online at short notice I don’t think that had got as far as front of house staff but a table was made up for us very quickly.Shared a starter of stuffed mushrooms - very tasty. Not being mean but it turned out that it would have been very generous for one. Then one of the shared meat dishes. Very nicely cooked with an enjoyable salad and nice fries. Shared a pudding as well - running out of space for more.Nice ambience, good service. Good value
